The hubby and I went out with friends this weekend to try the new Mr. Chow restaurant in Malibu. I wore this sleek leather skirt with a billowy printed blouse. I like the mix of the hard and soft, not to mention the pretty buttons on the skirt. It was perfect with my shoes which also have a mix of hard and soft with the lace and alligator. Good food, great conversation and even a noodle show – it was a fun night! More Wine Please
You can always use more wine! I love the rich tone of this dress and its simple details. I paired it with my booties (which happen to be the same matching shade) for a fun night out look. But the dress also works with a jacket and pumps for the office. Looks like I can say goodbye to my fur collared coat as its been 75 degrees at the beach all weekend! Retna Redux
As an artist I’m always inspired by other artists. The hypnotic pattern on this dress reminds me of L.A. contemporary artist Retna’s recent murals. It really makes me want to put brush to canvas this weekend or wear this dress to a few gallery openings!
